“Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. ”
Wow! Wouldn’t have got a better line to start this blog on why you should never stop dreaming. Yesterday, before retiring to my bed, a thought crossed my mind. What if I had no good reason to wake up tomorrow morning?
This was just a thought but it was enough to send a shiver down my spine. Because I’ve never imagined a day without a to-do-list and a life without a purpose.
Dreams comprise of both goals and the purpose of your goals.
If not for dreams, your life is meaningless.
A few months ago I had written a blog on – For Those Who Have Stopped Day-Dreaming. Well, there’s a little difference between day-dreaming and dreaming.
Day-dreaming is a sub-set of dreaming. It is a creative process where you discover and invent new ideas on dreaming on a broader scale.
The ideas evolved from day-dreaming help you ‘dream big’ and give you a purpose to live a meaningful life.
Why you should never stop dreaming
Dreamers are the achievers. If Sachin Tendulkar wouldn’t have dreamt of cricket all his life, India would have never got its blockbuster cricketer.
No matter how difficult or challenging your dreams look like, the result is always fulfilling and surrounds you with happiness.
Once you have a purpose in life, the courage and confidence come along happily. And then there’s no stopping.
Once you start dreaming, you’ll never stop dreaming.
When I started achieving the small goals in life that take me towards my ultimate goal, I feel motivated to conquer more milestones in life.
That’s the reason I thought of penning this blog down as to why you should never stop dreaming.
Let’s understand that you need to keep dreaming despite the thorns in the path of success. It’s for the thorns that we see the beautiful roses.
Dreaming is not enough
Well, dreaming and not doing anything to convert it into reality is like having a plate full of delicacies but you don’t know how to eat.
Dreams backed by strategy or plan make big success stories. So, let’s not stop dreaming and strive to make your dreams real.
If you’re stuck in confusion about what to dream about or how to plan a dream well, leave your questions in the comment box below. This will encourage me to write another blog on how to live up to your dreams.
I’ll be eagerly waiting to read your comments and then guide you to live your dreams to the fullest.
Thank you for your time!
Keep dreaming 🙂
