There’s an epidemic of self-books getting published every other day in the market. And productivity books have become friends of every generation right from the boomers, millenials to the Gen Z.
Everybody wants to learn how to excel in their careers by reading these productivity books. But there’s a whole lot of confusion amongst readers as to which productivity books will actually help them achieve their goals.
I come from a place where I’ve read atleast a 100 self-help books. And thus, I know exactly which book should be recommended to those who want to read and learn only the necessary things.
I know how it feels when you buy a trending book and gain nothing out of it. Sometimes it’s just repetitive knowledge and sometimes, it’s too long to digest.
So, here are only 3 productivity books you’ll ever need to read:
1. Eat that frog by Brian Tracy
I read this book at a very early stage of my reading journey, and I follow it religiously till date. Basically, the main idea of this book is-if you start your day by tackling your biggest, hardest, most important task (i.e., “eating the frog”), everything else will feel easier—and you’ll be much more productive.
Read this book to understand this deeply and transform the way you work. I promise you’ll be more productive at work, in the kitchen, and overall, in life.

2. Dopamine Detox by Thibaut Meurisse
Now, productivity is inversely proportional to using your phone. I’ve noticed the more I spend time with my phone, the less likely I am to complete my tasks at hand.
And reading this book was an eye-opener in it’s true sense.
3. Atomic Habits by James Clear
I know this one is a very fat book. But trust me, if you follow only one or two habit from the book, you are good to go. From the day I started following the habit stack technique mentioned in the book, my life has changed.
So, yes, if you are looking for some life changing productivity books, then these 3 can be your go-to books.
