As I was busy with my parents this weekend, I missed posting the blogs for these two days. I wrote the previous two blogs on the bus during my return journey to cover up the number of blogs. I hope you liked them.
So, finally, let me tell you what happened with the cake and how my mother had the privilege of cutting two cakes.
On our return from the housewarming, we went straight to the cake shop to fix the name on the cake. My friend, Mr Driver, put on his creative hat and instructed the modifications to the shop guy.
He asked him to convert the ‘M’ into a heart, cover the rest of the letters with a wafer, and then write ‘Mummy’ on top.
The idea worked so well!
With great excitement, I narrated this story to my parents and felt nice about it.

P.S. This was how my mother cut two cakes – one which my mother-in-law baked and the other which my friend helped me modify.
